A Necessidade de Toque e a Expertise do Consumidor em um Contexto de Marca Reconhecida e Não Reconhecida no Comércio Eletrônico: um estudo experimental

Para identificar se a expertise do consumidor influencia a necessidade de toque (NFT) na intenção de compra de smartphones, em comércio eletrônico, quando a marca é ou não reconhecida realizou-se experimento no formato 2x2x2: 2 níveis de expertise (experts versus não experts) vs. 2 níveis de NFT (alta versus baixa) vs. 2 (marca reconhecida versus não reconhecida), onde a variável dependente foi a intenção de compra em comércio eletrônico; variáveis independentes: marca, NFT e expertise. Os dados coletados junto a um público jovem foram analisados mediante análise fatorial exploratória, análise de variância e o teste T de Student. Rejeitou-se a hipótese de que consumidores experts possuem menos NFT quando da intenção de compra de smartphones disponíveis em comércio eletrônico que consumidores não experts. Confirmou-se parcialmente a influência da expertise do consumidor na NFT na intenção de compra de smartphones, em comércio eletrônico, quando a marca é reconhecida ou não reconhecida. O estudo apresenta uma evolução teórica sobre a NFT por ter testado, conjuntamente, a interferência ou não da expertise e marca no fenômeno NFT. As rejeições podem ser explicadas pela tendência de consumidores online se concentrarem menos na informação da marca e mais nos atributos dos produtos que necessitam.
