Localización y peculiaridades de la oferta de ocio nocturno de Ibiza

Abstract

Ibiza es conocida mundialmente por sus discotecas, sus fiestas y su ocio nocturno. La oferta de ocio nocturno no es homogénea, hay zonas con una elevada presencia de esta oferta mientras que en otras es escasa o inexistente. Pero incluso entre las zonas de ocio nocturno hay diferencias en la oferta. Este trabajo es una descripción de la oferta de ocio nocturno existente en la actualidad en la isla de Ibiza. La descripción se ha realizado en base a la revisión de la prensa local y la bibliografía. Además se realizó un trabajo de campo consistente en la visita de las principales zonas. Las principales concentraciones de la oferta de ocio nocturno son la bahía de Sant Antoni, el puerto de Ibiza y la Platja d’en Bossa. En la Bahía de Sant Antoni destaca la zona de la Puesta de Sol y el West End. En la ciudad de Ibiza destaca el barrio de La Marina y el Paseo Marítimo. Cerca de la ciudad, la playa d’en Bossa se caracteriza por los beach clubs y los hotel clubs. Como conclusión indicar que la oferta de ocio nocturno no se encuentra homogéneamente repartida por el conjunto de la isla debido a motivos históricos, empresariales y normativos. Hay tres zonas principales con ofertas y demandas diferenciadas. Las principales recomendaciones son: realizar reinversiones para mantener la calidad; mantener una demanda diversificada; mantener una cierta libertad empresarial pero no una laxitud total en la normativa.
