Achieving a competitive differential through the operationalization of the strategy is the object of study of several researchers and organizations. In this context, the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) stands out for helping in the implementation of the strategy. This technical report aimed to assist a grain sorting company in the Western Region of Paraná to implement a BSC. Regarding the methodological procedures, this is a technical report with a qualitative approach, aiming to describe in detail the problem situation and the stages of diagnosis and intervention. The data collection and information presented were obtained mainly through primary sources provided by the company, and secondary sources related to classification of grains of plant origin and BSC. For this, it was demonstrated the use of BSC as a tool to create a strategic performance panel, and with it to assist the Company in the development and monitoring of its strategies, aiming to make this a competitive differential. As a result of the study, a framework was developed with the perspectives: financial, clients, internal process and learning and knowledge. These will assist the company's managers in monitoring and planning the goals and actions in the quest to maximize the use of its resources and achieve a competitive differential.
